Wowzers! The graphics are sooo much better then PS!

Only down point is that TRA has killed my fear of TR1, nothing scares me anymore! Up until TRA, I was terrified! I guess this is good in away!

Anyway, Im up to the Collisium!

Yes - I am in the Coliseum in TRA (I am taking my time :)). When I replayed/played Tomb Raider (as never actually completed it on PS1) I was amazed at how enhanced the graphics were using Glide.

Just out of interest, are you using dgVoodoo or Glidos? I never tried Glidos, but it is apparently possible to install the Tomb Raider audio pack to add all the incidental music that was removed for the DOS release using Glidos - that should certainly add to the gameplay experience, a shame the music was removed for the PC version.

Hopefully you will find some of the later levels more frightening - the atmosphere is so good in the original!!

And if you're using Glidos, consider installing some of the TombRaiderXtra texture packs - they really do bring a whole new lease of life to the game. I really enjoyed playing through with the improved graphics :)

Oh god, I would scream when the mutants chases me, like LITERALLY scream! :vlol: I guess it's because you can't control her good, unlike in TRA, a simple head shot, or dodging from them keeps you safe!

Im playing with dgVoodoo. Glidos is not free after awhile. Are there any like Glidos that Are free?

seriously though, theres a few older threads that show you just how much better glidos is than dgvoodoo.
i would get it straight away.

It's Colosseum :rolleyes:

Crystal Dynamics changed it to Collisium ... maybe thats the way Yanks spell it, but it's Colosseum in the original Tomb Raider.

Download unfinished business...ACK IT IS GORGEOUS!!!!!! My fav TR1 levels are all in Unfinished Business.
