Has anyone got/played this game? I have a demo version (you can play up to the roller coaster at the amusement park) and it looks VERY spooky

Its out for pc as well as ps2.I played some of this game months back and thought it was a good game.If your a fan of survival horror games (like me) then you will like this game http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif Its quite challenging too as there isnt much ammo/health about the place...and there are plenty of enemies.

I like the way that SH3 contrasts with the TR series.....Lara is so fearless and assertive whereas Heather seems to be scared, traumatised almost by the events around her......

Anywayz, what I mostly luv about their reviews, and from sites ones of course, it's their knowledge combined with HUMOR. For example this is 1 paragraph I could soooooo agree with but laugh at the same time, and as u can see it reviews SH3:
" Silent Hill, for those who have never visited this quaint little burg, is the absolute worst town in America for well, anything. It apparently straddles the line between our dimension and some place that makes Hell look like Disneyland. It's constantly infested by hideous creatures and lots of spooky fog." - hehe, this dude is awesome http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/clown.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

" Silent Hill is notorious for its atmosphere, and the latest version doesn't disappoint. The game's graphics are incredibly well done, filled with greasy, dirty, and downright disgusting textures that made me want to soak in a long, hot bath after watching them."

:D ;) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/pillow.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
But most of all the words that make the whole review interesting:
" The creak of every door, the wailing wind, the far-off cries of some ... thing ... in the darkness easily sets one's imagination on fire. The music, too, helps set the mood and preps you for the inevitable encounter with the grotesque monsters that haunt the town. This time around, gamers will be facing (among other things) dogs with split open heads; a weird tumbling mosquito thing; something in a butcher's apron with big, meat-slab arms; a big, nasty worm; and a group of nurses that will keep you from ever going to a hospital again. They're all great in that, "Oh God, I'm going to be sick" kind of way."

Ok, I've just seen it's requirements and all I can say is that it eats away your computer,SH style.I mean commonnnn,1GB RAM ,128MB card (for some is ok,but not many require it). WTF?!

It needs some really strong machine to support it.
I'm thinkin of maybe downloading a demo, for now.

I have "Silent Hill 1", "Silent Hill 2", and "Silent Hill 3". I've barely played SH1, because its graphics are bleh on my PS2, I guess I'll have to smooth out the texturing. SH2, I have beat many many times..you have to beat it like 5 times to unlock all the endings, bleh! SH3, I am now in the amusement park after Brookhaven Hospital..man Brookhaven is twice as bad as it was in SH2!!!! It freaked me out even more.. ::Cringe:: I wish Maria would return from SH2..but James killed her in the final level of SH2..or did he? If you have a SH2 save on your memory card for PS2 and you play SH3..you'll see an ad for "Lady Maria" on the stage at Heaven's Night when Heather goes there on her way from Jack's Inn to Brookhaven Hospital.
