I agree, I bet they'll sell more. The only successful game with a female lead is tomb raider, BloodRayne 2 won't have a sequel, it's not popular. Dreamfall is struggling to reach the top with it's sales (though it's rated OUTSTANDING) and some others like Beyond Good & Evil, they don't survive...

Death by Degrees is not for PC unfortunately. I've seen some FMV's on youtube and they are stunning and the story is definitely interesting.

The Longest Journey most certainly comes to mind. While I enjoyed the story quite a bit, this game felt incomplete to me. It seemed like it wanted to be a movie or a novel, but not an adventure game. I never played the sequel, though.

I only played a demo of Heavy Metal: FAKK 2. It seemed uneasy with itself.

I haven't played Drakkan, but I've heard it's not as good as Tomb Raider.

I haven't played Space Bunnies Must Die, but I've heard it's one of the worst Tomb Raider clones ever made.

There are also a number of RPGs, like the Fallout, Baldur's Gate, and Neverwinter Nights series, where you have the option of creating female protagonists.

It also should be added that this one of those great games that got lost under the radar some how. Shame really. There was a sequel planned but it got canned because sales were bad.

I don't buy many console games games (I think I have 12?). I mostly rent. But I went out and bought this one once I started playing my rental copy. It is really great. Interesting story, great dialog, and great side kicks (though odd at times :) (but in a good way:)).

Definate worth a rental to give it a shot.:D

Oh.. and...

Summoner 2 had a female lead.
Just about all MMOs if we're stretching that far.
I know Oblivion has been mentioned but you could also add to that all Elder Scroll games.
