Hello. This is my first time in this section, and I'm wearing horse-blinders while I'm here because I don't want to read about anything before I see it in game. I'm currently at Natla's mines. I only mention that so you would be so kind as not to mention anything that happens after that level.
Thank you, now for the actual post I wanted to make:
Lara sure wasn't as cool and composed as she was in the CGI cutscene when the T-Rex showed itself, was she? LOL She acted a bit more like how I would ... contort my face into a grimace that says "sh**" and take off running!!! By the expression on her face it looked like her heart skipped a beat when the rex came out.
Did you like or loathe the t-rex battle? I'm positive it couldn't have been the same as in TR1.
I will not even glance at a walkthrough until the game is finshed, so it took me some time to figure out how to kill that rex. I loved it! My heart was racing.
I hope those of you that wanted atmosphere are happy. This game scared the hell out of me just moving through unfamiliar territory. I walked the whole time because I was afraid of running into a trap or into a swarm of wolves or something. The sounds and ambient "music" [not really scores of music, but long chains of sound effects like wind, crumbling rocks, etc...] really made the environment what I wanted out of a Tomb Raider game.
