Mansion time trial help

I know this is in here somewhere but I keep answering posts before i find it LOL

I'm begining the time trials and in the mansion I can't hit the ropes holding the statue in the pool room. I never get a red reticle no matter what I do. I'm using manual aim as auto aim doesn't target anything. I can't shoot the rope connection on the platform across the room either.

Any ideas?

Although you already have the pistols when you start the manor you need to collect them again so you can aim, its just a glitch/bug.

If you mean having to do everything in the manor to complete the time trial, no you don't. Your goal is to get the music chime from the garden, put it into the slot outside the music room, open the door and the level ends. Therefore you only do what you need to that will lead up to that point.

Which means you can skip collecting secrets, getting the journal or the maze map etc. Those things will just slow you down.

I hate the same problem with the Manor time trial... But it then turned out to be very easy...

I am trying to jump to the wooden boards from the scaffolding, but when she jumps from the platform, she will not grab the boards. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be gratefully received.
