Unfinished Business?

Unfinished Business is the addon for the PC created to be like... Tomb Raider 1... Part 2!! Right? I think I heard it's where you go back and do something with that cat statue in one of the Khamoon levels in Egypt.

Anyway, I've always wanted to play it!! And I know you can download it or something here because it was meant for Windows 95, correct? However, I have the PS version of Tomb Raider....


SO, in order to play Unfinished Business, do I find a copy of TR's PC version on Ebay and then you the handy downloader to play Unfinished Business on it? Or do I have to buy Unfinished Business, too?

I've never really understood this so I never got around to getting it...

Tomb Raider Gold comes with it, but I think that if you have the orignal for pc you can download it from the tomb raider chronicles site. :wve:

I believe that the PC version of UB works with the PSX disk on the drive. It just reads the audio tracks.

I doubt it, don't the PSX and PC discs read different audio files from eachother?

Both PC an PS versions or TR1 are mixed-mode CDs - basically a CD-Audio, with track 1 as the data track, however the layout and format for PS is completely different to the MS-DOS version!! It is possible to play the CD-Audio from the PC version using the in-built CD-Audio play on the PlayStation - not the game though.

EDIT: And yes, the sequence of audio tracks are different for the PC version as it does not have the scene-based triggered music.

I dunno, it may be my copy, but I remember puting any audio CD on the player and playing UB and having great laughs at the music being triggered :P

It was a while ago, so I may be completely wrong. Well, nothing is lost trying, isn't it? ;)

Anyhow, you can get TR for PC easily and it won't cost more than $5.

What if you just have unfinished business and not the tr game can you still play anyway or do you have to have the original? cuz my friends lent me unfinished business...........................

You have to have the original game to run it. But if it's Tomb Raider Gold he lent you, it should have the original too.
