GAHH! I can't wait! This is going to be like TRA. My same feelings! I will see the first screenshot, then come on this site 24/7 and look for updates for like 8 months!! TR chronicles is where I check the news for everyday waiting for the news!!!!!!!!!!:jmp:

indeed it is :) but i think CD already spoiled us enough in putting anniversary together in only one year, that they deserve a bit of a break before worrying about revealing anything about TR8 ;) id rather be patient and wait and then get a spectacular game in the end that fully perfects and enhances what anniversary has :jmp: Crystal Dynamics should make the next game epic and the longest tomb raider of them all so far :D
Fingers, legs and other various appendages crossed for E3!

To be honest, i'm not interrested in Legend (or Avalon) anymore, except the manor. The story is just messed up and i don't think they will change it. You know, Toby Gard will just do his thing, no matter what the fans are saying. The images Crystal release allways looks perfect, so i personly don't have to worry about the game looking bad.
I'd like pictures sooner than later obviously, but just supposing they realeased a couple tomorrow(won't happen i know) but that would keep me satisfied for months and months.
I think they'll pamper us like they did with Anniversary, don't know about you guys but releasing the first TRA trailer around Christmas time really put a smile on my face :)
So if they're going to do it the earliest would be Christmas I guess, personally, I want them to take AS MUCH TIME AS THEY NEED to make Tomb Raider games, don't want them to burn out and go insane like Core Design, poor things.
Whenever they're ready. Personally I think Christmas is a good guess, but that's just an estimate, not an expectation. I hope they don't hurry and just take their time to make this game as good as possible.
Hopefully within the next two weeks at E3 :wve:

No I read somewhere, in an E3 preview, that there's no TR there.
But I prefer to wait, but god I'm so excited to see how great it will looks in late 2008, game will be BIG at this time.
And just look at Uncharted : Drake's Fortune, a 2007 game, it look SOOOOOO great !
And I'm very calm about this game, I'm sure it will be good considering that they start it while TRA was created and they got another year, so... They got like 2 years to do it, and that's a lot considering that TRA got less than a year. :jmp:

I a hoping for E3 - though there is a small chance about that.... then maybe .... Halloween? Like a complete celebration of the anniversary because Tr1 was released on helloweed 1996 :D

I donno RAID, but you seem to be very hateful at CD and that's why you are not giving yourself the chance to enjoy the game..
TRA puzzles, the mood, the music, the bosses fights... where did that all go..

Anyway, back to topic:
I am very anticipated about TRL2, but this time i am just aware that i'll see the least amount of photoes...
I'll just c the first released screenies so i can see how superlative the graphics will be...
I think Christams would be fine...
I hope this time they have more time than before, and even if they needed some, EIDOS betterbe fair and give them more time when they ask for it...
in the end, EIDOS will keep getting the tiles of money it needs...
I just hope TR8 cranks it up compared to Legend and Ann.
Those two were outsanding, but I know they could do a lot better. You think one year is enough time to make a great game but I wouldn't mind waiting longer if it would make it a better game.

You seem to like snapping at people today Tthe, there's really no need.
Read Raid's post again, it seemed to me (and I assume most other people as nobody else has picked on the comment) that 0/10 was Raid's excitement rating, prior to the release of the game.
I can honestly say I don't think anyone has rated TR:A as 0/10 on this site. :rolleyes:
Tthe Spirit, I don't hate Crystal Dynamics. Believe me. Ask anyone who knows me on this board, especially before TRA was out. But I am disappointed.
I'm not one of those bitter people; That hate a creator just because they took the place of the original team.
And just like Rivendell pointed out, 0/10 represented my excitement for TRA. And it's a good thing I wasn't excited. It would've been a punch in the stomach if I were.
Anniversary was an improvement from Legend, but I expected more, especially since Crystal bad mouth the classics.
What do you have to say to anyone who may have lost faith in the Tomb Raider series?
I understand. You played six games in a row and they're all the same. We're going back to the tombs.
It's not enough. Putting spider man in a tomb is worse than putting Lara the empty streets of Paris (which Crystal focused on a lot while bashing).

To get back on topic..., unless the first, or any media released in the future shows that the annoying flaws in Anniversary have been replaced/fixed, I doubt that my excitement will grow.
But until that time, I can wait. Hopefully we'll get more than screenshots though. I need to see the action. Hopefully a sample of the gameplay, mostly moves will be released.

I think there's about a 20% chance we'll be seeing it at E3 this year and an 80% chance we'll get our first peek in at Christmas time. Hopefully E3 though! :D
around the next E3 (is it still happening?!?)...or maybe around november..
I think we're going to see the first pic from the next Tomb Raider at the end of this year. I doubt we'll something about it next week at the E3.

I think there will be text or statements about TR Legend II quite soon, but as for pictures or anything tangible in the way of evidence, I would say Christmas.
Actually, I rather hope they sit back and take in all the buzz/feedback/success of TRA in the next few weeks/months.
E.g they just spend this time on the theory of TR Legend II (locations, plot, puzzles, influence of TRA, setting the budget + getting the staff into project teams etc... + input from fans etc...) before really getting down to the nitty gritty of programming.
Slightly off topic - if anyone is going to E3 can they check if Indiana Jones on PS3 is mentioned, and post in general chat forum section?

Yes, it does! RE:UC, Devil May Cry 4, Battlefield: Bad Company, NFS: Pro Street, Crysis (I'm crazy about this game! can't wait! :D). But I'll miss some Tomb Raider footage at E3 if there's nothing. :p

I think it'll come before christmas, you know Eidos they just can't hold anything in for long ;)
and if they did hold off for too long then the fans would revolt - WE WANNA SEE TR8!!! :spm:
well since they are making a new engine (or so i heared) it will take longer...so maybe sometime at the beggining of next year.

Might be Anniversary for 360 and Wii though...
