Path to Damnation - Horror/Adventure

[SIZE="4"]I have been working on this project for the last few month now, after making the first level to show people what I can do, I decided to work from that onto something which I consider to be a success of a levelset!
Personally this is the first time I feel like I've made something quite good in this community and hopefully you lot shall enjoy the set as much as I did making it. [/SIZE]

[B][SIZE="5"]Backstory:[/SIZE][/B]

[SIZE="4"]After the events of "Temple of the Moon" and escaping to the small village, Lara was able to find people to help her get to the nearest city, from here, Lara called Winston to send a plane over to the nearest airstrip.
Upon the plane arrival, she felt quite off, somewhat of a loss of balance, maybe caused by the lunar shift on her body after the portal travel a few days back, however... She soon started to see things which weren't real, demonic creatures so to say.
She boards the cargo plane carrying adventuring gear as well as artifacts from previous adventures, soon enough the back closes up and finally the craft takes off, still feeling off, Lara goes to sit down on the side before trying to catch some rest.
About a few hours into the journey, they hit a snowstorm, flying over what seems to be mountains and such but too foggy to be able to tell...
But from this point on, things are about to get... deadly... one could say... this is the start of a path to damnation...[/SIZE]

[B][CENTER][SIZE="5"]My thoughts:[/SIZE][/CENTER][/B]

[SIZE="4"]The first two levels were my attempt at pushing the engine to its limit in terms of environmental detailing, while it may seem short to most people, this is because I actually manage to hit the hard limits the engine could handle so was unable to add anymore, which is kinda crummy but what can you expect?
The third level is my most impressive level to be fair, the way I designed it was all from memory of the original manor on the classic TR games but with additions and new things, hopefully I didn't make it too dark.
The last two levels I kinda started to run out of ideas on what to add and what to do, but eventually I got there and quite frankly, I think it fits the theme quite well.

[SIZE="5"][B]Bug notes:[/B][/SIZE][/CENTER]

[SIZE="4"][CENTER]- Sometimes if you rush out of the skeleton fight in "The Manor" level, the music for the other small boss fights doesn't play, to solve this, you must let the music finish before it starts the background track again.
- The load level screen when the fog changes can make them look ugly.
- Having the crossbow out in the end hallway leading up to the main boss fight part one in "The Catacombs" can cause a crash, I wish I knew why it was doing this but I was unable to fix this.
- Camera after boss fight in "The Catacombs" can be look-key out of, I wanted to use a flyby camera but I fear it might have caused issues.
- Flyby camera transition in "Cutscene 2" isn't as smooth as I was wanting it to be, sometimes I wish there wasn't a limit on flyby camera sequences.
- Some of the metal railings can be shot out in "The Manor", this is because I ran out of static slots and had to go with shatter objects, I was too lazy to add 1024 codebit to each of them.
- The Cog switch in "The Catacombs" breaks after using it, please make sure to save and then pull it 8 times before heading for the door.
- Going beyond a page in the Diary can cause a crash, though this seems to mostly happen to the last page of each level.
- The Cages in "Abandoned Bridge" in a cave need to be shot in the middle of the bottom, I think I forgot to add the collision, might be updated later on.[/CENTER][/SIZE]

There's a laser sight you can find in a crate in the first level, it is easy to get due to the way a certain weapon can be aimed with look, it'll make things a lot easier through the levelset when you obtain it.

[B]Q:[/B] I think I missed the burning torch?
[B]A:[/B]
In the second level there is a burning torch on a skeleton corpse, make sure to not forget it, I kinda tried to make opening a door on picking it up but they never act like real pickups.

[B]Q:[/B] The diary order seems in the wrong order.

The diary order is not specific, it acts more like a guide to the adventure then to just point out events ect.

[B]Q: [/B]I think I may have run out of ammo early!

There is plenty of ammo for the weapon at hand throughout the level set, provided it is not wasted otherwise you will not be able to finish the last boss and finish the set.

[B]Q:[/B] I can't get past the boulder traproom!!!

In the boulder room on level two, there is an easier way to getting through, it involves a TR2 trick used in the vent system in the opera house ;)

[B]Q:[/B] Help! The final boss isn't dying but bugging out!

This shouldn't be happening, I am not too sure what is causing this but I think it shouldn't happen again after a previous save reload, if it does happen again, there may be an issue with some attack phases or the solid(poisoned) crossbow bolts, I would like to see if anyone runs into this issue again so I can go back and give it another test to see if there is an underlining bug here.

Near the beginning of the year, I started to work on the first level mostly as a show off to some friends on twitter to what I could achieve, however I stopped working on it till sometime in August where I took the courage to go finish it off thanks to some people pushing and begging me to, between then and now I've been working on trying to make this my somewhat best work out there, this really did take a lot out of me as usually I was going 8am to 11pm a few days at a time working nonstop on it, it's okay if people critise because that way I can work off feedback to improve for future creations.

not stuck but it seams that the books are in wrong order
or something
cos when i dived down and get up in the room where the torch are
i didn't pick up the torch (didn't see it)
and vent through the boulders room and up to where you get back to the
cars
and first got the logbook there
but you can't get back and get it :(

Mhmm maybe I was a little too sneaky with the torch, also the book entries are in no specific order, it's mainly there to act as a guide so to say.

Had a feeling someone might forget it though.

Made a start on this, not sure if you are allowed off the cliff edge, as I did this right away after visiting the pool room, and I got to the lower ground area, (by doing a sneaky hang drop and instant roll at bottom to save on energy) and there is just death zones everywhere. Lara just dies. Think I have skipped something by doing this, and going the wrong way, so starting again :D

Nice looking level though ;)

So I am at the last boss in the Hell level, and I unloaded all my 95 cross bolt ammo on Seth, right?

And now all of a sudden he's running against the wall, not attacking me, nor can I lock on to him anymore. :confused: What the hell is going on? Is this another bug?

The game, while kind of fun, is unpolished beyond belief.

As my walkthroughs are always complete (I mean Secrets of Every Level)
Can I Know the Number of Secrets of Every Level? The game looks great! :)

use the dynamite where you jump
over to the pool area
