What wad are you using. I think this happens when you output the wrong wad you are using for your level. For example, if you are using the tut1 wad and then you output the wad to settomb

Please more info.
You need to name you wad to something and convert the tom.file. In the script at the level=Data/"X" . Put the name of the wad here and convert it. Are you using ngle. I'm not familar with scripting using the winroomedit because i am new to this |

Again more info. I can't help you if you can't be more specific. The name of your wad? If you are starting out, build a wad with tut1 and output the wad to tut1.wad and then build it using tomp2pc adding the tut1.tom and play. Read the manuel and do the tutorial, you will then become much more familar with the files you are working with and you will get a greater understanding of the level editor
