Although I think it would be amazing if the whole game looked like stop-motion. It would certainly be like no game I have played before.

I meant any game is the current gaming generation.

Plus technically Clay Fighter was still a little 2D. I wonder how they would be able to make everything look clay with a full 3D enviroment.

I think they'll only use the clay-look for the trailer though, I don't think they will use it for the actual game.
I think they used the stop-motion look in the trailer to give it a spooky feeling, since most stop-motion movies have a darker style, like the nightmare before christmas and corpse bride.
The game itself will be a little cartoony I think, but not clay-style..

That's actually the only video I stumbled upon to claim it as unnoficial, all other sources say it's the official teaser..

And from everything else I have read and seen the trailer is official. As Noodleboy said, that's the only thing that says it isn't.
