TR3 visuals 'freeze', pls help
Hi guys,
I have a problem with getting TR3 to work. I've installed it and run the patch, but when I play the game the visuals will start to 'stutter' after a few minutes, before they freeze completely. I can still control Lara, as in I hear her running around in the game whereas the visuals are completely frozen. I've had the exact same problem while trying to run TR2 Gold, however TR1, 2, 4 and 5 have worked just fine with the patch. Umm.. Is your TR3 legal?
Edit: I think I know what your problem is. Your video card might be displaying the game improperly. I dont know how to fix that though.

LOL Yes, it's from the terrible 'The Tomb Raider Collection' including games 1-6, the one where some of the images on the cases don't even match the corresponding game LOL.
Oh.  Hopefully someone can think of a way around it. I just find it weird that I can play TR2, 4 and 5 perfectly but I have this problem with TR3 and TR2 Gold.

1. The patch wasn't properly installed.
2. Try uypdating video drivers from www.nvidia.com Also, you have crappy McAfee antivirus, disable it before running games. Or even better get rid of it and install some decent antivirus. Kaspersky or Dr.Web must fit.

1. I've now uninstalled the game, ran the Registry cleaner, installed the game and then the patch.
2. The Nvidia site says my drivers are up to date. I actually uninstalled McAfee anti-virus a long time ago (I now run Avira), but I still have the McAfee firewall installed. I disabled it though but the problem remains.
