**** gamestop, they arent selling DAO till friday. AND! They wont take original Xbox games for credit. Might try Wal-Mart later, but the $7.75 I got for GTA4 might make me wait till friday...

Oh you know that's always BS. I guarantee that they have at least 20 copies beyond what was pre-ordered. They all do that, and lie to anybody that didn't preorder.

IGN Review

Still on the fence about this game, though I'm leaning towards a no.

Well, after playing for about 4ish hours, and leveling 5 times heres my quick review.

Decent so far. Like an 8.5 on my scale (and Im a harsh critic) The graphics are "meh" in some places (playing on 360) Comparable to Oblivion, and I still havent seen much open world, more segmented areas, but I think the place I am at is sort of like the Citadel in Mass Effect, once you get through the political crap, and get to the rank of Specter (Grey Warden) youll pretty much have free reign. The biggest drawback so far is invisible walls, ugh! They are everywhere! And you cant go deep into water! Big pet peeve of mine!

As far as the gameplay goes, the button set up is working fine for me, a person who tries to keep things simple. The fighting so far is pretty ... basic. Think KOTOR + Button mashing.

The story has been the best part for me, as it almost always is. Bioware did a great job letting you choose an origin story to complete first as somewhat of a tutorial. I am a female warrior - City Elf, and my origin story was to kill some *****es who were going to rape me and my slut friends.

I look forward to playing it more, and if what they say is true - 50 hours just for the main story - it was well worth my sparse $60.

Think I'll have to pick this up. Wish the console versions didn't have to suffer, but oh well.

Thanks for the mini review. Your backstory made me LOL, though

Sounds like fun haggardsauce. I might have to put this on my "price drop" watch.
