I'm a little bit annoyed because the HDMI port of my PS3 broke and it was sent in today. Luckily we have a 2-year-warranty by law here in Germany so I'm not gonna have to pay the replacement. But it usually takes 3 weeks for them to replace it so I probably won't be able to play AC2 on the release date.

got it for only $19.99 at gamestop, when i traded in Saints Row 2 and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune.

 (got $35....)and because i preordered AC2, in-store, they dont charge you tax! (i wonder why?)

I believe that you have secured a future business transaction for them, they offer you something in return (like no tax, which could be a competitive edge for them to get more customers to come to their shop).

I pre-ordered it for 360
I wanted to get it for PC, but my brother convinced me that the 360 version will probably have fewer bugs (based upon what he read about the PC version of the first game). Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to this. I wonder how the pre-order bonus mission works? Is it a separate mission or is it integrated into the regular game?
