heh what the hell I'll tell my story too

I remember seeing one time the TV ad, and I was like "cool a new tomb raider!" I was not a "fan" of TR as much as I am now, but I did play Legend before that and olders TR when I was young (vaguely rememer playing them). Anyways, later I find out that you needed a GPU with SM3.0 My interest faded right away... but for christmas (1 month later) I bought myself a new GPU, so I was able to play TR (and other games too)!

So much fun it was! I wasn't subjected to the hype machine at all before, so I really liked what I saw; I didn't had any expectation. I think it's why I liked TRU so much (I still do )

But I can't say that for TR9... I am on here multiple times a day I should quit and come back whed TR9 is released

I cant believe it either. I remember the day i got it on release and how excited i was as i played it for like three hours. And how the wait for it seemed forever. But now looking back on it...it wasnt worth the effort lol

yeah, it hard to believe. I remember waiting to Legend, Anniversary, Underworld, hell, even AOD with all the delays. (I wasn't a member of the forums back then, but i did browse them occasionally)

In eight days it'll be exactly a year since I first played Underworld [not including the demo] The reason it's so weird is because it's scary how fast this year has gone by.

Yea indeed, it went by so fast. My life has completely changed since. Went from High School to a secondary education, I went studying in a city, have to travel everyday now with bus and train, I met new, incredible people which I became good friends with and yet played alot of Tomb Raider and now working on a TRLE level again. TRU was sure very great, but it was again just too damn short, really a shame. It's quite annoying when you think about it actually. We all waited for months and then I finished the game in barely 2 days. And then the wait began again. (minus the DLC ofcourse, which were incredible!) I remember waiting for Legend and Anniversary too, oh I was as excited then as I was about Underworld. Really don't remember the whole AOD thing, wasn't a real fan then. I did play most of the classics, but expected that the series were ended after Chronicles. It's really a shame, I found out about AOD via a friend of mine. So I didn't even notice all those delays I really hope TRO will be alot longer. But I'm really ready for some info now too. Ooh.. I remember having the TRO leak (fake or not) on my birthday! That was just amazing, it was the 28th of May wasn't it? Wel, thats my birthday. It was such an amazing birthday present.

The forums have indeed became less interesting. The TRU section is almost dead apart from the XNALara thread and so are the Legend and Annniversary sections. And the future sections are only about: do we want a ponytail? Do we want more clothes? Uncharted is much better :s and all that. A little tad of info on TRO would sure wake the community up again

It's really amazing how quickly this year has flown by. This is the first time in 3 years where we've had absolutely no official news whatsoever of an upcoming TR in the coming year, shocking. I can still remember me and my friend phoning each other up: discussing ideas for the game, what we thought it would be like, how excited we were, etc.

Hard to believe that was all a year ago... yikes.

It DID go by fast.
I remember almost constantly visiting the Tomb raider site for more info a screens.
I eventually spoiled the whole game through youtube vids though
Everyone was also very hyped about it.

Now its just "Tomb Raider Underworld? That game is.. erm.. fun to play I guess "
