Default Unlisted Enemy Defaults

Howdy folks. I'm attempting to change the attack of the DEMIGOD baddies in TRLE. I started with DEMIGOD2. I entered this line in the script:

Enemy= DEMIGOD2,500,NEF_EXPLODE_AFTER,IGNORE,IGNORE,800,8 00,800

The script didn't cause an error, so I assume I have "DEMIGOD2" right, but it didn't change the the damage the demigod does in game. There's a possibility that I can't set demigod damage to that high because it's defaults only allow for 1-127 or something like that, but none of the damage charts around seem to include demigods.

First I tried the one at skribblerz. It doesn't include demigods. Then I tried the one in the REFERENCE section of NG Center. That one also leaves out demigods. Does anyone here know what the default damage settings are for DEMIGOD1-3?

At first I assumed they were the same as "SETHA" but if they are then my script entry should work... I know for a fact that it has SOME effect on the demigod, because the demigod EXPLODES after dying.

I think you'll find that if the range for that slot is 1-127 then that's all you've got, and your choice must be in that range.

I'd be assuming some of your values are too high go with EssGee and try the highest of the range.

Silly how there are "ranges" but limits do prevent the engine from breaking!
