Wow that looks like crap. Lara is way too shiny.

Wow, I'm really tempted to go through all the videos of the PS3 version on YouTube now because this version is seriously buggy! I'm not kidding, it's not just the water, look at the trees What happened? Transparency doesn't exist in this game?
The water in the ending looks even more crappier

It looks like there's no transparency applied to the water texture
Well, that's how running water looks like.
The water's textures are LQ though.

Ew. My PS2 version looks beautiful in comparison. Even if it isn't HD.

Exactly. And we were told that the PS3 version would be the best looking of all the other versions.

Honestly Anniversary doesn't translate well to "next-gen" (X360/Ps3). It was originally build from the ground up for "Ps2-gen" era. Egypt for example, there were a lot of shadows that created a sense of depth and realism. On the PS3/360 version, all of that shadow's lifted away, making Lara look cartoony cel-shaded.

And as you guys posted, the water looks horrendous. If my memory serves me, the water from when Lara was on the boat did not move AT ALL.

I would love to have this trilogy mainly because the water in Anniversary in some sections seems react so gorgeously realistic. It's so cool.

Unfortunately.

They should have put more effort into the game and the white glove glitch in Anniversary just screams laziness!

This seems to be a theme of ps3 upgrades. I gather the silent hill hd collection is shocking!!!
