FPS problem

Hi there!

i don't know if you guys experienced this problem, if yes then i hope somebody can help me.

I have my new PC now and when i play TRU at 1280x1024 resolution with everything turned to the highest settings i get a stable 60 FPS during game, and it lowers to 15-20 at the into with the Eidos/Crystal Dynamis title...and if i record with fraps the framerate is poor, it around 20-50...

Is there any FPS lock in the game? my PC can handle Battlefield 3 on max setting (the framerate is till smooth under recording with fraps), even Metro2033 is quite playable (it's a badly optimized game tough) on the highest setting, so i don't understand

My Pc is:

Core i5-2500K
HD Radeon 6950 2GB
4GB DDR3

Is there any patch to the game?

i hope somebody can help, cause i want to record a video walktrough for my website

Don't know if it will help but have you tried changing the resolution?

nope

if this PC can handle a game like BF3 on max settings which has much bigger requirement than TRU then i doubt it would solve the problem

I tried with turning V-Sync off...now the ingame FPS is around 200-300 bit if i record it's still drops down to 30-40 sometime...the really annoying thin is the big framarate drop at the cutscene before the mediterranean level, i got 2 FPS :S

perhaps i should try with my original game because that one is patched as i know

that one may work better
