I made the changes to give young lara the revolver, but as I said I did not test the whole level at the time and now I do find there is an area where you cannot proceed further, so have added a second savepoint to get you by that glitch area..... These things happen when you modify levels

So Download this and unzip..... (I have also put a first savepoint after the hangmans speech as its quite long, and have put a second savepoint which gets her by the blocked up area with wooden boards where she fires a slingshot, there is a glitch here, so you do need this second savepoint to continue the level, the revolver and 60 bullets are now in the crypt where the fire torch is found ).

I have played this through to the end, and it works OK

NOTES....

Sorry, No SFX, hence no gun sound effects.

To trigger Von Croy at the start just run around the starting area, near the incomming light and the stone blocks and he will appear.

There are no Von Croy talks, so to stop talking cutscenes, just press 'tab 0', ie, the look button.

Just before the large water lake area, make sure Von Croy beats you to the viewpoint above the lake, before you dive in, or Von Croy will not follow you.

I remember seeing a video once that von croy chased lara because she shot him and he tried to killed lara.

This thread is great.
I once tried the cheat, but it didn't work, just as your results. I tried the cheat because I was doing a speedrun video of Race for the Iris (at the beginning of TR4) and would like to use the flare-cancel somewhere.
Now this thread makes everything clear.
