Hi, I've been playing Tomb Raider II right now, and in Opera House level I just have a new experience. I want to now if this is new or what. I go through the stage part, I killed every gunners, dogs, and then I went to activate the switch that opens the upper door on the other side, where there are two thugs. I killed them with the grenade launcher ...And then the bodies of the gunmen stood up! But while they were standing, they did nothing. The funny thing is that it only raised the gunmen, not thugs or dogs.
Photo: You can appreciate the items in his feet. Video (sorry about terrible sound): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTDqfnPF7aM And the guy in the other side: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIIVntL08po What do you think? Last edited by Tsukuyomi; 05-05-12 at 14:58. |

I've had this happen before years ago.
The gunman, after I killed them, I threw the switch, and they stood up, but holding out their gun and in a running stance, but they never moved. hahaha Quite weird ![]() Nice pic though!

Interesting, I would have though the gunman would have frozen on his spawning position (as you cross the floor you hit trigger areas that spawn a baddie outside the area you are in, then he comes into the room lara is in and attacks).
It seems the baddie is frozen away from the spawning position, Unusual. Sometimes with position editor you can occasionally jump locations from a trigger square and freeze baddies in their spawning position, and they do not move because they have been spawned, but not attacking, as the trigger command is uncomplete. It is very easy to do this in TR1 compaired to TR2, where you see TR1 frozen lions and apes, but as soon as you cross their triggers they move. This is different with the baddie moving, dying?, then freezing.

Sorry, cut the top of the picture without thinking.
It's Fexinspect, to check each TR room. It shows where each baddie spawns, and where their triggers are.

Can't say I've ever had this happen to me in all the times I've played TR2. Sure, I've had some enemies laying flat in elevated positions, their bodies looking like they're floating, but I've never seen a corpse stood up.
