Here is the video, I uploaded it to youtube since it seems to be jinxed on my PC, I can never find it. I never had any luck finding an existing version on youtube. And this video is not good enough quality to get a good screen grab. Still looking for a better version.

I have no idea where Justin got the original video footage, but some exclusive glimpses of the game were apparently shown at the Game-On exhibition at Edinburgh around Oct 2002 I am thinking this is some of that material if not all of it.

They looked just as bad to me, you still had to line Lara up after stopping, she still went into the door jam before turning and she was still woefully slow. If anything it looked more like the controls were based on the directional buttons rather than analog, which would not make the controls better. We would have to see a lot more footage to decide if the controls were more responsive.

If Lara appears to be faster possibly that would be due to the frame rate of the recording rather than Core Design changing the animation speed.

There is only one thing I don't really understand about this video. It looks like Lara is following the fish. Is it because the fish knows the maze better than Lara does?

If she's in front of it, how can she be following it?

At the beginning part she is slightly behind the head of the fish and swimming close to the ceiling. And then she is in front of the fish.

Maybe its a simple test video and the fish has no attack here. Perhaps it doesn't mean anything.
