Not to mention one of the main reasons why I will always prefer the classics over anything they bring now is the fact Lara was ON HER OWN, without any annoying sidekicks and what have you. And then they had to change that in Chronicles for some reason. In the one location I actually liked. >.<

Yes Lara doesn't sound like a 16 year old (but this is like 2000 over 10 years ago, no one gave a damn about voice actors like we do now).
But, yeah your the only one who hates Ireland. I love the level's sense of gloom and the atmosphere is incredible.

It all comes down to what type of Tomb Raider player you are. What do you play TR mostly for: the puzzles, the atmosphere, the combat,...
For me that would be the atmosphere, the music, and the characters like father Patrick. But if you like combat: there aren't any guns in this level. So it's logical that those people would rather not play these levels. Personally, I played through Chronicles many times, mostly when alone at home in the dark. And the Ireland levels get pretty scary sometimes .The levels also had a very exploratory feel to them. And I think the story supported it very well: around every corner I was looking to see if father Patrick wasn't there so to speak.

Nooo i hate it too. dont know why everyone loves it. i dont think its spooky. always thought the levels are quite boring and the most annoying part is, that you dont have weapons, but well. its not challenging, its just annoying cause of those little baby demons. a little child would do more damage to lara then them...

I dislike chronicles as a whole but I specially dislike the Ireland levels: I HATE “teenage” Lara.
