I actually liked Underneath the Sphinx, but it's not my favorite so I don't don't care if it gets killed. The only thing I hated about it was crawling around in that stupid maze with the spike pits.

I don't get people's hate for The Mastabas either
It's a scary as hell level with those dogs in the tunnels jumping at you from around corners
Mastabas was just a lot of copy&paste... It dragged on way to long and got quite bored almost right from the beginning, though I do like the atmosphere of the level

I disliked having to put the codes in to open the gates and having to traverse those annoying holes beyond each one (with the stupid bats getting on your nerves all the time). And I'd always end up going into a dud area

If they'd combined the four areas with the stones into just two, it wouldn't have been nearly as bad

The tunnels get repetitive to some, I get that, but for me it suited the nature of that level.

The Mastabas looks like something an amateur designer would create. They copy-and-pasted room after room and made us shoot those stupid lion heads time after time. I don't even really think it's that creepy; it's just so repetitive and boring, I hate it.

Y'all are just stupid, Underneath the Sphinx was a flawless level, except for the huge flaw that was the underwater maze. But other that that it's flawless

Spong, it looks like we aren't working together on this one The reason I'm saying that is because we've had more or less the same opinion throughout these threads ;-)

So I was told by many people. That's still not an excuse to never play through them, is it?

You forget the bulls, the hallway of doom, the trapped niches and crawlspace, and the descending ceiling. I will protect my lovely to the death!

That may as well be statues because they never trigger. I never quite understood their point.

If you mean the corridors of traps, it's completely pointless. And on PSOne, it can contain a potentially game-breaking bug.

Not so bad in themselves, but they should've been combined instead of being separated by a tedious code machine and repetitive navigation of holes.
