Castlevania: Lord of Shadows had that approach for cutscenes. They do include voice acting.

This is sad.

So I finally got the chance to play the DmC demo. Why did they feel the need to include all them story spoilers in that derpy little intro thing, really. The first level was okay, if a little bit boring. The girl person is really annoying. Dante was really nice in this level. The combat is like a bastardized version of Heavenly Sword's combat system, not a fan. Platforming is really rough and his jumps are really ungraceful. The second level was just saaaaad, the dialogue was so horrendous, it was really disappointing after the first level's niceness.
