It's a radical departure (completely changed, init) from what we knew of the game so far -- so I'm a bit worried, but of course, this bein' BG&E2 at the end of the day, I'm sure I'll love it even if it is an MMO.
I just dearly, dearly hope it's not an MMO. Clearly a case of executive meddling if it is, given the fact it's also a prequel -- which in itself I can deal with even if I'm kind of disappointed. Oh, Ubisoft... Last edited by tomblover; 13-06-17 at 02:52. |

Mixed feelings. Of course, I'm HAPPY that there's a BGE2 happening, and the characters and universe just SCREAM Beyond Good and Evil. I need the stealth gameplay, the photography aspect, the sandbox world,...
Let's see what happens. I'm more optimistic than pessimistic. Gosh, after all this time. |

It's still early but I'll express my 2 cents:
PLUS Title is Beyond Good & Evil 2 MINUS Gratuitous swearing Realistic graphics and characters (I prefer the original stylized look) It's a prequel (I'm curious about what happened after the last game ended than some backstory) Online/MMO (Uhm...a story mode would be nice) So far I'm kinda bummed they didn't live up to this: |

I saw the video and I was really surprised by the change of direction. The leaked stuff from earlier looked closer of the original but now it's really a big change. Game looks good though, let's hope it'll be really good.

The CGI trailer looks flashy and nice, and since Guardians of the Galaxy are so popular, the general public will love it. To me it feels like a sterile Hollywood flick chasing current trends though. I'm not one bit interested in online gaming either, so I'm quite disappointed.
The 2008 trailer was simpler, but had me a lot more pumped. Too bad that was scrapped. Last edited by AshesBorn; 14-06-17 at 08:54. |

“We’re creating a sci-fi space opera, a game where players fight for freedom alongside unforgettable characters and explore a stunning and vast solar system, all while capturing the spirit of Beyond Good and Evil.”
I don't understand how this says it will be multiplayer??? It just clearly states that we will be playing alongside unforgettable characters, and with it saying a sci-fi opera game, it's just playing on the fact that the protagonists in this adventure will have a huge impact and probably have major personalities. It honestly does not say anything about being an MMO or multiplayer at all. I think y'all are just reading too much in to it, and taking it out of context. To me, that still states that it will be a single player game, but just have a lot of character in the story and all of the characters themselves will have an impact on you, as the player, and be unforgettable. Just like the first game. Think Firefly, but with a Beyond Good & Evil twist. I see Firefly as somewhat of a sci-fi space opera. |
