Default Tomb Raider Chronicles, Windows 10, fullscreen crash?

As the title says - is it possible to run TR5 on Win 10 (x64) in Full Screen mode? PCTomb5.exe stops responding after the Eidos/Core logo screen, I get a black screen that I have to kill via Task Manager.

I have tried Compatibility Mode to run as if on XP, tried various different resolutions and settings in the Setup window, it just doesn't seem to like it.

It's installed via Steam if that makes any difference?

CPU: i5-4670k 3.4GHz
GPU: Geforce 980
RAM: 16GB DDR3
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

...I guess I could install a virtual machine with XP, run that in fullscreen mode and run TR5 within that, haha.

Have you tried deleting, and redownloading it?
