I'm pretty sure at this point.

I like it more than any other film in the franchise.
Wow. I'm actually amazed haha. Nothing wrong with that. Glad you do enjoy it; more than I do.
Looking forward to its home release.

*shrug*

I don't view the original trilogy as great films, and my affection for them has lessened as I've gotten older. With that perspective, it's easier to me to find something outside of Eps IV-VI that I enjoy.

Hmmm I see. I love the original trilogy, less so Empire Strikes back than the other two though.

When I was very young, I absolutely loved them.

That love affair didn't continue into my adulthood.

Which is to say, I enjoy them, but I don't use them as a measuring stick against the other films.

Someone asked me to rate the films in order of preference, and I was kind of shocked how low I rated the original trilogy in terms of which ones I'd prefer to watch if given the choice.

I also notice their problems, weird coincidences (some, not all), and what not. But considering their place back then and its impact today, its one of the most famous trilogies ever made. Also, A New Hope is on my individual list of top five best films I've ever seen - #4. Coincidence? Yep lol.

Definitely not in my top 5.

Not sure if any SW film is.

Welp I'm sorry
lul

A New Hope is a blast to watch and is such an influential film that I have to at least place it into my top ten somewhere. Thats individual films, not series or trilogies. Just that with time and repeated viewing, it gets dulling. Same with The Lord of the Rings. So I restrict myself to one trilogy watchthrough a year (maybe), and perhaps one full saga watchthrough, or OT watchthrough, every year or year and a half. Maybe longer.

Just hopped into this thread to post the mid-season trailer for Rebels.

Step aside Sam Witwer, the real Senate is back.
