What would you add to the sequels?
I thought this could be a fun & creative game:
Without changing what is there, or taking anything away, what would you add to the progression of classic Tomb Raider? It can be within the AOD trilogy, or afterwards. ------------------------------------------------------ I would add deleted crawlspace roll. |

-....is it bad I would want to take away the 'straight up' jump? Or maybe atleast only have the animation activated at certain ledges? -I would LOVE to see the combat from the first AOD cleaned up a bit, maybe have it go in slo mo like it does in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (Not every single time you fight though). -I think it would be cool for it to be an I'm going theme to include: "choose your path" diologue scenes as well. -Some new acrobatics that aren't the same as LAU, because we have seen in AOD commercials Lara dodging lasers whilst doing flips and tricks in her own fashion and it looked really cool.

I'd love to see puzzles that aren't just physics based or about finding the right item and putting it in the right place. I'm talking stuff you see in the National Treasure movies and in the Robert Langdon novels (Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, The Lost Symbol etc.), where you have to decipher anagrams, codices but you also have to explore very specific locations or examine specific monuments, so there would probably be puzzles that utilize the compass for example. I adore stuff like that, and the puzzles in Blood Ties are the closest thing to this we've ever seen.

Missed in the old Tomb Raiders ...
The old series of tomb raider had less functionality and interactions with the environment around Lara ; I mean for example , when Lara gets close to an interactive object , it was a great idea to show a hand or exclamation icon ( exactly like LAU ) to inform the player that he/she was near to an interactable object . Something else they could add was giving the player more instructions about how to control the main character ! As far as my memory serves me , even in TR4 , Von Croy gave quite DUMB ( ) explanations about the control configuration to the player . They could make the process of training easier by adding sprites and images to the game's scene .
To sum up , it was also a great idea not to remove Croft Manor ( Lara's House ) level ... |

Tomb Raider the angel of darkness was an almost complete and satisfying progression of the original 5 TR games that preceded it. I don't think there is anything that I would add as the experience in itself is already legendary, except for the moves from TR5 that unfortunately didn't carry over to AOD, the Dual Pistols, and more ancient tombs.

The game should have secrets like in previous games (1 - 5) and a secret level (like tr3). Not a golden rose but a golden nephilim or a golden lion statue.
More explanation. |

Core himself said that TRAOD2 was supossed to be more Tomb Raider than ever: tombs, jungle... they were also working on "re-design" the entire Nephilim race for the sequel. Core even talk about "Tomb Raider 8" (TRAOD3) which looks like it was going to have only one location! aghhh... *tears*
