I feel like Rhianna is getting far too much crap for things that very likely aren't her fault here. As was pointed out she was one of five writers is Rise and has had to connect the dots CD have laid out.

If you want a really good critique of the story here and have 45 minutes to spare, I highly watching Joseph Anderson's video on it here:

^ I love the story for 2013 and Rise, I love what Rhianna did and it's sad to see her go, I just don't like some little gameplay and story elements within the game. That's my two cents.

Don't get your hopes up. Rhianna likely wasn't the main problem so the next game's story is probably still going to suck (unless they make other changes to the writing team and/or writing process, as well).

Great news to start 2017 with.
Now CD, please hire a competent writer who can write an interesting story.

I would say I am sad but honestly I am not. She did a great job with the reboot and rise and her effort was incredibely well received for a new generation of player.

Kudos Rhianna, thank you so very much for everything you have done.

That's fine, you did very well Pratchett. Wish you the best.

I must say, terrific community.

That's very good news I like some of rise but she didn't write well Lara
Also saying that core Lara was a ice queen without emotions! What

She wrote well young Lara 21 but no Lara of rise

Bring back murti or someone like him we need a complex adult dark story now

And this mean no more saaaaam! Haha

I've got nothing against Miss Pratchett personally or her writing style. The dialogue for example was fine in TR2013 (I don't know about Rise), I just don't like the direction. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

Good luck with your future endeavours.
