Whats with the Gunfights with Animals?
Although we encounter several Animals in previous games but with this one its like you have to fight an exotic animal on every corner! where are the puzzles? is it Hatari or Jumanji we playing? as i progressed through greece after defeating those centaurs, we have two mummies throwing fire balls ! "BLAST" what is it DOOM? its like they developed a template to design all levels on same pattern, "pull the levers and come to the middle room and fight the animals again!!!
graphics are cool and it looks good too except water, but what about the AI and the plot its like they designed this game for ten years old with difficulty leve of jumps and bosses for adults. Last edited by revelations; 12-08-07 at 05:10. Reason: spell check |

I think you're more annoyed with gunfights in general, not particularly ones regarding "gunfights with animals." Good thing, too. I was worried you'd be another one of those "stop killing animals in video games" activists.

well i dont like it either, but Tomb Raider was an exception, i did post it here that animal hunting even on games sucks.

I think combat in this game is excellent, because most of those animals are extremely challenging, the black panthers in Egypt and the crocodiles being the scariest of all (for me).

l remember being chased by a very similar assortment of animals in Tomb Raider 1, its a remake so you still fight animals. Unfortunately none were packing guns, so there were not that many gunfights.

Indeed. I think the combat in Anniversary is absolutely great (surely much better than those silly packs of mercenaries every now and then in Legend).

I'd like a little more variety in the enemies. Legend overdid it with the mercs, and TR1/TRA overdid it with the animals.
The variety is one of the things I really loved about TRII: There was a mix of human and animal adversaries. |

It would be nice to have a balance of mercs and wild animals for TRL #2.

Another classic example of how you can never please all of the people all of the time. TRA is supposed to be a faithful reinterpretation of TR1 which had almost exclusively animal enemies up until the last few levels
