I wouldn't be surprised if they released that Eidos Montreal was working on it since the very beginning of development and they couldn't say this because they wanted to keep the marvel project a secret.

The more Square/CD keep quiet about this situation, the more baseless rumors like this one are bound to pop up. People tend to make things up when there's nothing official to be discussed, and honestly at this point if I were them I'd simply confirm who the developer of ROTTR's sequel is and possibly whether SOTTR is the official title or not, to finally put all the speculations to rest.
While I doubt they put the series on hiatus, I can see why people might start to feel worried about the future of TR and therefore come up with certain arguments. All we've heard so far are little pieces of info here and there with zero confirmations whatsoever. |

Like I had stated before, they don't seem to care much for the game, more like dragging it in tell they get tired of it.
