It seems we found our possible Mathias: Walton Goggins
Well, title says it all.
And he seems to really like the script which is a plus. Let's see if these movie turns out to be enjoyable Quote:

Interesting, I didn't think he'd play Mathias. I wonder if it's legit or just edited.

At first I'd thought he may play Mathias but as time went on and more was announced about the film and it's changes I began to think he may be another rival archaeologist or something. Also didn't he say he was ready to raid some Tombs. Seems to me a more archaeologist thing to say.
If he does play Mathias then I hope he is developed well. Maybe he had a wife and children back at home before getting stuck on the island or maybe they'll introduce elements from Rise and have him trying to fight an incurable disease. I have to say given a choice over the villain being a cult leader or a Tomb Raider, I'd prefer a cult leader. Last edited by Tonyrobinson; 14-01-17 at 03:17. |
