The other day I called off work bc I was so hooked onto this game. Ten minutes before I was supposed to clock in I found out I was at the ending and then the credits started rolling. While being really surprised and kinda shocked I proceeded to quickly put on my uniform and go to work, stating to my managers that my call off was an accident lol.
- Just tried to play this game on NORMAL mode and yeah...sorry I'll stick to easy! |

Do y’all think that they will reveal a release date or an update at The Video Game Awards or the Kinda Funny Games Showcase? I just read an article where Geoff Keighley states that at Yhe VGA there will be “10 new games announced and updates from previously shown titles.” Do you think TLOU2 could be one of those titles. I can only assume so since Sony has opted out of PSX and E3 next year.
Thoughts? |

No E3 2019, no PSX... They skipped PGW, TGS...
I'm inclined to believe they will reveal something at TGA. A trailer at the very least. Last year they replayed PGW's trailer and it's the last 'major' conference of the year with tons of announcements and reveals. With Sony skipping PSX and E3 2019, there would be only Pax South (Jan 2019) or Pax East (March 2019) left for any other big conference. Days Gone is set to release in Spring 2019, so I can see TLOU being a Summer 2019 title at this point. Last year at PSX, the game was 70-80% done. One year later if they still haven't reached the 90%, they seriously have management issues. A Summer 2019 release would give them one year and a half since the game was at 80% done. That's more than enough. |

^ I feel like they are closing in on the end of production and moving the rest of the team that don't have anything left to do onto this new IP that the seem to be working on and hiring for.

I also noticed that jobs application for The Last of Us 2 are gone from Naughty Dog's website (I missed my chance, damn lol). Things are progressing.
