Im surprised nobody is telling me to Release a Model that Everyone will use and Nobody has used a Model from me at all, yet im Not feeling sad about it.
Sorry Decan, but its just that you Do make Wonderful Models and you cant expect everyone of them to be used if the Person has no need for it. Look at My Models, i should be Flaming Everybody that arent using My Things in their Screens. Im just Happy to Release a Mod and If someone uses 1 Item, im Not gonna be Sad about Nobody Else using My Work I mean have you seen the Recap Models and the Character Models in My XNA Model Thread, be Glad someone is Actually Using someones Mod. Seriously, do we need 80 Classic Lara Models of the Same Kind. |

NONE of these XNALara stuff around is useless! I personally watch my download count. There are a lot of downloads so there are people that like your stuff and use it. For sure not all of them are registered anywhere and show their pics, but even if you're not registered on any site you can still use XNALara and download stuff. So the download count tells you the truth about if your object/ model/ whatever is liked or not. Calling anything around here senseless just because we already have a bed or have a plant like that is just rude. And that smashed everything you said before. 80 Classic mods? Well i don't think that there are THAT much but anyway. All these mods have something special about them. Maybe only just details. But people are doing this for the fun of it and want to share their work with others. Afterall we all do this just for the fun, don't we? |

With all due respect, some people may not want to use the same Lara model for every artwork they make. Don't bother your head about it, daventry.

Wow wow wooooow people!
Im gone for like 12 hours and i come back to this? Thanks for everyone sticking up for me, thats really touching, seriously. But i didn't take daventry's comment that personally, its just a forum and his comment was both negative and positive feedback/criticism. Although it made me back off the modeling a bit, waiting for people to make requests instead of just making stuff and throwing it out there. And so i could focus more on some renders i have had in mind, like my new epic Why Desmond, why?. Anyway, daventry. I think you got my message all wrong. I don't care much about it being used, i know they will, someday. But i DO care about comments and feedbacks, both good and bad. For ones, so i can improve my self, but they also have the effect of boosting me to make more. So if no one comments the next model, or the next. That would properly be the last 2 models/objects i would make. Cause then im out of fuel. The download numbers are cool, but they are not driving me to make more, not as much as comments, both good and bad. And about the huge amount of Lara models, hehe i can agree with that. I never use any other models then the original ones from Dusan's extractions. There are a few reasons for that. Anyway, there is a few renders i have made with others Lara models, but thats only because i was asked to, a favor or cause there was no alternative. Arg, better stop writing, or els no one will finish reading it And the simple version: No hard feelings daventry Thanks everyone Last edited by Decan; 29-01-11 at 19:16. |

No worries - I'll put it back on the (very high) to-do pile.
You'll no doubt have the skills in a little while (I think it looks more difficult than it is); as XNAaraL put it, after awhile you don't even use your brain to do it... ... which is how I usually go about it... |
