Germany left it late tonight. Looked like they were buried after going down to 10 men.

Argentina were very poor. They may yet be lucky though if they beat Nigeria in their next game. Croatia are dark horses to win it for me.

Supposedly they played bad to get their coach to lose his job... Could be something to it...

Really? Would they really destroy their chance to win the world cup just for that one guy?

Reminds me of France i think last world cup or so, where they showed no respect to their trainer and then got knocked out without having scored a goal in the world cup...or something like that.
I only remember France being involved in something like this.

Anyway...Germany hm?
Aged everybody who watched it 50 years.

My girlfriend an me watched it with my family...and my mom has not lost one step in being completely into it.
For the whole game her blood pressure was really high and she might have called them all at least 30 times "Brunzdumm" for how they played.

Germany always was mainly a tournament team who shifted to higher gears the farther they came.
So yeah, we will see how this goes.

Not into footie in general but was surprised to hear Germany are out after losing 2-0 to South Korea.

Certainly a far cry from the last world cup where they thrashed Brazil 7-1
That was surreal!

Yeah, since it was my birthday we watched the game with the whole family...i was really shocked to see how incredible lifeless they played.

Its been a long time since a Germany team felt like this, i guess the last 10 years or since this "Sommermärchen" started with the World Cup in Germany...they team was riding on the Wave for too long instead of moving forward and evolving.

But from what i remember, this isnt even such a shocking thing.
For a world cup champion to lose its steam in the next World Cup.
I think France had that after the WM98, brazil too and spain i think.

Its for the best i think, if you dont play like you want to win...then you dont deserve to win.
Its back to the drawing board and evolving the German Football team, maybe get some young and fast guys in there, some who take the initiative or so.

This game against south korea was awful all around.
