i think it is a bit late for this movie to be released in 2013. We have seen nothing, heard of nothing except a few ideas which are not even that original or exciting. I just think that this movie is dead, its files wont be out of the drawer onto the desks again

I think it is dead sometimes too but it certainly isn't too late for a 2013 release. The movie could be casted in a month filmed within two months and edited in one to five months. I'd say it could be a possible release in September/October 2013. There is no way it would go against Hunger Games in November. Maybe it could take the Sherlock Holmes franchise spot in December there hasn't been one of those in a while. There is also three months of 2012 left. Once the director boards the casting process will be quick. Maybe it will already of happened simultaneously.

The movie still is on!

Someone tweeted Karl earlier today that Nina Dobrev wanted to play Lara and he replied "How's her English accent" so that would mean it is still happening right?

Perhaps they're waiting to see if the new game makes money before they decide if it's worth investing in a TR movie.

Sounds like GK Films is having money problems so they made this deal with Warner. You never know, Paramount might be willing to buy the rights since they are doing so well with the Avengers movies.
