I'm the only one who thinks it borrow lots of concepts from 3D Sonic games? When I watched the gameplay video, I thought "It looks like a slow paced Shiro no Jikuu with shooting!"

Well, I never played Infamous.

Definitely on my "To-buy" list.

I don't really get it. These fluffy open world games are getting really old. There's nothing to do but run and jump on buildings. There is no real challenge. It's the same reason I can't play Assassin's Creed, Prototype and such. They are just open space with minimal effort put into any sort of combat system. Sure, it's cool from a technical standpoint to climb a big-ass building and jump off. But from a gameplay standpoint it's completely boring. Not impressed.

This is from the company that brought us some great Ratchet & Clank games, though. I have to believe the gameplay is going to be great--with some especially interesting combat.

Totally agree. At some point, developers need to learn that simply being able to run and jump on buildings is not enough to make a game out of. It gets old quick. What we need are games with well crafted challenges and interesting gameplay.

And the Spyro games on PS1. Don't forget those titles too

From my point of view though, this legitimately looks like fun(which is certainly something worth noting), considering that I'm not really a fan of shooters, outside of the TimeSplitters series.

If you're a Xbone owner, I would be happy that you're finally getting the chance to experience some of that Insomniac Games magic that PlayStation gamers got to relish for so long
