So here's what I read in July and August:

Murder at Midnight by Avi
Vanity Fair by William Makepiece Thackery
The House on the Strand by Daphne du Maurier
The Time Machine by H.G. Wells
We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson
Jamaica Inn by Daphne du Maurier
The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins
The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells

And I'm currently working on The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells and A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. I wouldn't say that I love either of them, but I'm enjoying reading them. This is my first Dickens, so I'm definitely open to try more of his works.

I've been almost exclusively reading classics this year. I love being able to discover them on my own and read them in a relaxed environment.

Witcher - Time of Contempt
It was a great read, I enjoyed this one the most so far.

A Court of Thorns and Roses

It was a fun read but I have no idea why it's so lauded. Nothing about it was particularly special--As far as fantasy goes, the world-building and lore were decent, and as far as romance/erotica goes, the main romance was underwhelming. I hear the sequel is a lot better, but I've been slow getting into it.

Re-reading The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. So many important points that are constantly forgotten everyday and we need that reminder to get back on track.
