It was , but it still wouldn't have made much sense either way , because Lara had the bandages before she hits the ground and gets impaled

Pretty much. That's also how the classics were created, though with the difference that every team member was allowed to put more of their own creativity into the games than they're nowadays.

I think this is the best place to comment this!
I tried giving this game another go, after I watched the trailer for the film I wanted to replay this game so I was up to date with what happens during this game. I got up to the helicopter crash scene and the horrid bug that stops the game on PS4 happened (as it usually does for me). So, i restarted the game like I normally did but this time when I pressed continue it said 'corrupt data' and I'd lost everything previous. What was more annoying was I was playing through the game getting 100% on all hubs so I could finish the game 100% and not go back to it. |

That sucks! But on consoles you can create multiple save games, right? On PC I save every time before exiting the game and when I continue, I can select between the last camp save (aka auto save) and my own save game.

In ROTTR you choose to load a backup save on the main menu which is like half an hour before the actual save. I know this is possible on XBox one but I have no idea for PS4
