Yes, they were in the first level. It's really interesting to see, what was originally (first picture), then some things got removed (second pic) and what we got in the end. I wonder was this a memory issue? (loading too much things at one time?)

^ No, no no no. They had something like a plugin in Maya to create environment. I believe later such environment was ported to TRAOD Level Editor (there was one, check tombraiderchronicles.com) for gameplay scripting

The first 30sec or so is very interesting...I wonder why this got removed? The soldier's blood is still there, and if you enter in that room the camera cuts to a fixed position. I know, now there is a dead inmate, with the code on his back, but they could put him anywhere really. |
