A severly over looked masterpiece probably one of the best Disney movies I have seen because of it's darkness and violence. It's also the closest there will ever be to a Zelda movie to date. And it has the scariest Villain of all movies hands down. |

As I say it is over looked which is why many haven't seen it. There is also a rumour that it was rated R.
Another fun fact is that the dog from the movie and Gollum have the same voice And it was the first film to used CGI and recieve a PG Here's an interesting documentary: Here's also a parents guide to get a sense of why it's so adult. Sex & Nudity Minor sensuality: A large, buxom gypsy woman is briefly seen dancing seductively on a table for the Horned King's drunken soldiers. One of the witches tries to seduce Fflewddur by prowling on top of him. After Fflewddur is turned into a frog, there's a rather comical moment where he gets stuck in the buxom witch's cleavage. Taran and Eilonwy kiss. Violence & Gore Fantasy violence throughout Taran has some blood running from his mouth when chasing after Hen Wen Taran duels using the magic sword with several soldiers, the sword obliterates their weapons into shreds of metal and wood. The Horned King resurrects dead soldiers using the black cauldron and they massacre several living soldiers off-screen and we see Eilonwy's reaction to this. The dead soldiers start to decompose when the cauldron is corrupted. Two people duel as one of them gets sucked into the cauldron and disintegrates. Profanity None, aside from some minor name-calling. Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking We see a party scene in the Horned King's castle with many of his soldiers consuming ale and behaving in various states of intoxication. Frightening/Intense Scenes The Horned King, and his dragons appear very demonic and may be frightening for young children. The dragons chase and terrorize Hen Wen in one sequence that's rather suspenseful. The dead soldiers appear as living skeletons and are rather ghastly. A character sacrifices himself to the cauldron at the end of the film Last edited by Tonyrobinson; 28-04-10 at 21:47. |

^ that doesnt seem to bad.
if only Disney could team up with Eli Roth to make an animated Hostel film, then that might cause an uproar. |

The Black Cauldren seems really frightening for kids! My little cousins are even scared when they watch Bambi or Sleeping Beauty! No way they'd watch this
