As of now, probably Opera House. I really enjoyed exploring the opera and exploring a little outside. This level just really sits well with me.

Only one level. Hmmm.
Well, there's about 15 contenders, any of which could be regarded as "the best TR level". (Including the two levels mentioned above). I'm sticking with "Palace Midas", though. Everything about it just oozes class. The sublime level design. The exploration required in the level. It's ace. And the best bit on your first playthrough?? The discovery of the hand. You stand there looking at it. You're fairly sure what's going to happen if you stand on it. But you're compelled to do so. So, you do stand on it. And then you die; illustrated by a wonderful piece of animation. But you don't mind all that much. Because you've just witnessed the best way to die, in any video-game; ever.
