not even close. it's not as scary, and you can't really get lost anywhere. however, the visuals, sounds, and atmosphere is fantastic so you'll definitly enjoy your first playthrough. some secrets are difficult to find also.

Nah, really the only similarities with TRA and TR1 is that the main characer is dressed like Lara Croft and theres something about those Scion cars. Not a fan of them myself.

TRA isn't as hard as TR I and this is a shame! Today's games have so much more possibilities, but their gameplay is a lot worse than the original one.

There are some places that are actually more difficult than the original only because now there are more moves for Lara to do, hence harder things for her to get out of, but overall no. It's still beautifully remade with great music and the nostalgia was crazy for me.

It can be very frustrating in the Great Pyramid and St. Francis Folly mainly because of the controls. The rest is simple.
