SOOO goooood!!

Y'know, I think AoD would benefit a lot from Depth of Field.

Looks promising. Is it possible to use bump mapping to make the sidewalk on Parisian streets bumpy?

I always thought the biggest problem with AOD graphics was the awful textures. Good job!

True. In fact I think the largest problem is the extreme inconsistency between the texture resolutions. Some textures that are spread across a large area are terribly lowres, whereas textures for small surfaces are quite high res in comparison. :S

Here some new screenies to enjoy

The (again) remade horizon and other improved textures that weren't improved in my first screen. Looks even better and more realistic now! ^^

And here you can see one of the HUD icons I remade. The activate 'hand' icon:

The city in the new horizon looks amazing! It blends in so well with the actual game environment. I think I liked it better without the clouds, though. The sunset colours painted over the clouds looks a bit weird. (Maybe take the sky from the previous version and the city from this one?)

Also, it's awesome that you're remaking the icons! That's one of the things that keeps bothering me whenever I replay the game.

Thanks! Yes, i'll probably change it again. I'll also probably make the lights in the horizon somewhat brighter, and I could easily remove the clouds, I'll probably make them very very faint so keep some definition.

Do you think the horizon is too 'high'? as in vertical height? Or is it good this way? The original horizon is somewhat lower, but a horizon at that height made me feel like the buildings Lara is on are on a hill.

Thanks! I'm quite proud about the fact how good it blends with the environment! This level feels so much more real and large now.

Looking at the 2nd screenshot it looks like the level is a part of the city now. You look beyond and it's like it goes on and on. You've done an amazing job! I can't wait to try the patch
