Im confused, i said 4_longsword and it Worked as the Sword is Working in XNALara, but looking at the Generic Mesh with Notepad, No such Word exist, so where did that Word come from.
handgunhandright 1 # uv layers 2 # textures OrderSword.dds 0 # uv layer index OrderSword_n.dds 0 # uv layer index 882 # vertices Same thing with the Mace, what do i call it. handgunholsterright 1 # uv layers 2 # textures SEAmberMace.dds 0 # uv layer index amber1_n.dds 0 # uv layer index 775 # vertices Same thing with the White Shield, what do i call it. handgunhandleft 1 # uv layers 2 # textures kite01Gryphon.dds 0 # uv layer index Kite01Gryphon_n.dds 0 # uv layer index 763 # vertices I Selected the Green Shield from the Knight Plate 3 in Blender and Deleted the rest, then i clicked Center New and typed OB:18_handgunholsterleft that i found in the Notepad. I Export the File to XNALara and Loaded the Model, the Green Shield is There and Working. Last edited by daventry; 23-08-10 at 12:21. |

open the mesh.ascii file and use the search function of notepad, search for the mesh name you'd like to fix.

Now i need a Tutorial on mtl/obj Mods, because i just Import them as obj with Blender (without doing anything in XNAalara F11) and Remove things, then i Export it Over the obj File, but sometimes the Mod is Also Invisible or just Doesent work.
What is this Window when i Import/Export an obj, i just say OK and continues on, am i supposed to do something on that Window. I think Some Mods dont work well, because People Use 3Ds Max and Blender Accepts them, but Cant Export them. |

2: Selektiert zuerst ale Meshes (oder deaktiviert "Context Selection Only") . Use google translate. Use the right settings: 1. Import mark "Material" http://www.tombraiderforums.com/show...&postcount=260 2. Export: Mark "Normals" and "Material Groups" http://www.tombraiderforums.com/show...&postcount=268 3. No, -read 1th and 2th ;-) 4. Not Blender have trouble, XNALara have special requirements ;-) Last edited by XNAaraL; 23-08-10 at 12:03. |

IT WORKED
This was a Jetti by Lara Maniac with Stuff Everywhere (Floating In Air Fish/2D Water/Chairs/Crates/Fishing Pole) and the File was in obj. Many of the Models by Lara Maniac are Skew, i Rotate them abit in Blender, but when i Load them in XNAlara, it still Rotates Skew, how do i make it Rotate in Order so to speak. What are the Extended OBJ Scripts for, i Dident even use them. Should i Still Export the OBJ to a New Folder, since i just Export the OBJ Back to the Original OBJ File. 2. Das gleiche mit deinem Green Shield ;-) BTW: Please give in the readme no Credits for me, give Credits to the creator of the model. Best way: Leave the original readme, and make a extension for your work ;-) |

Removing and Saving with .obj Use the Scripts ImportObjX.py/ExportObjX.py if a Model loads black or white in Texture Mode ================================================== =================================== On a rare occasion when a Model has missing textures, press Tab to make it Yellow. Now press CNTRL N and agree with the little window that comes up, then Export the Model and try again in XNALara ================================================== =================================== Sometimes a Model can turn out Blocky, so do this. ================================================== =================================== Open Blender and Press A twice, then hit Delete to remove everything inside. Click on Import (using the import script .obj) then go to XNALara\Data\Object Folder and click on the .obj Import it with These Settings. Also click on Smooth Groups and set Clamp Scale to 0 by hitting the left arrow. Click on View, then click on Front to view your Model. Press Alt Z to Colour the Object. CNTRL Wheel: Left/Right - Shift Wheel: Up/Down - Num Keys for Camera Turn. You can Right Click on a Part and just Delete it, but sometimes you cant. Here is how to delete a specific part. Press Tab to go into Edit Mode, then you will see all the vertices glowing yellow. Press A to deselect, then you will see very tiny pink dots. Press B twice until you see a circle on your Mouse Pointer, then use the Wheel on your Mouse to make the Circle Bigger and Left Click on a vertices (Pink Dots) where you'll see those vertices glowing yellow. You can also hold in the Left Mouse Button while sliding your Pointer over the Object, then press Delete and those parts are now Erased. Press Tab and return to Object mode when you’re done, then select your Object and click on the Menu below (Select – Select All By Type – Mesh) If it looks like the Object is Skew, Hold In the Left Mouse Button and drag a Line, then let go and move the mouse. Click with the Left Button when you are Satisfied. See the Green and Red Lines, move your Object to the Centre of it. Click on the Menu below (Object - Transform - Centre Cursor/Centre New) and Export (using the Export script .obj) to XNALara\Data\Object Folder, then click on the .obj and Export with These Settings. Hint: If you cant find the right textures for your New Model, click on the Copy Images Tab. Make a New Folder, then move the (.obj/.mtl) to the New Folder then move the (.obj/.mtl) to the New Folder and Delete the Original Folder. ================================================== =================================== Last edited by daventry; 11-09-13 at 15:26. |
