Yeti found in Nepal level?
I was watching one of my old Youtube videos and got one of those 'seen a ghost' moments, hairs on the back of neck rising, and said "what the heck" at what I saw
Not quite the words I said, but got to keep my words polite on this forum I thought it was a Yeti or Abominable snowman in the cave sneaking away Video link....(at time 5.05) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TrGURMNcTg Now I thought to myself, this is just a trick of the light, the brain fooling oneself as we are naturally programmed from birth to see figures and faces. And most likely it is. Or could it be the ultimate game designers Easter egg, but that would have required some really fancy texture and shading work to achieve this Having reloaded Legend onto my computer today to check this. When you look at the following pictures showing the entrance to the cave, The 'Yeti' outline is due to the bumpy cave wall shape, and you can still see the 'Yeti' outline today, but depends on the light and shade, showing it up.... EDIT..this picture is from message #13...to show outline Last edited by The Great Chi; 08-09-18 at 20:56. |

Maybe it is, but I can't see it. I was very distracted by that bike though.

Bike?..oh yeh, its a modified legend level, that's what I do ..modify
But your right it must be a trick of the light. Though the picture is as good as some of those 'Yeti spotting' pictures and videos that you see on the internet |

I see that outlines, all you need a little imagination...
I find quite interesting, with the light of the bike it gives that look, yet with the PLS you can't see it. Maybe you were too close and that shiny ice effect didn't worked properly. Or just the level of the light is different... |

Play with bike
On a side issue, if you wish to play with motorbike on the PC version of Legend, then here is my TR7bike exe, that you can place in the Legend folder. Do not remove the existing TRL exe, you just click on the TR7.exe to start game. The normal game is not affected that starts with the TRL exe.
Download TR7bike exe... http://www.mediafire.com/file/81bhc7...7bike.exe/file Legend folder: is located at c/program files (x86)/tomb raider - legend To get bike at start of Bolivia.... Throw Lara off the cliff This kills her, and spawns a motorbike, and press E to get on bike and drive. To get bike elsewhere, move further up the level on foot, then get to an automatic savepoint, say at the top of waterfall, and then kill Lara by jumping to the ground, and she and the bike will respawn at savepoint, etc. You may wonder how this is done, well I can place any object in TRL and TRA, by using a hex editor to place an object or multiples of that object into a level, and some of these objects have animation movement. This was taught to us all a long time ago by sasho648 on this forum. See this video of mine, on what can be achieved.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgh0KzM8EEE Put motorbike in any level....... PS ...I have had a PM from a member asking me how do I get the bike into the Nepal level when the TRLbike.exe is on the debug version of TR Legend. Well once the game is up and running and Lara is in the starting Bolivia level. Select F6 for debug menu, scroll down to select chapters, then select Nepal, and Lara will be at the start of Nepal, work your way up to the cave, get to automatic savepoint, Kill Lara, and Lara and motorbike is re-spawned. This method of selecting chapters, will let you put motorbike in any level OK, back to the 'Yeti' talk, he he, Cheers Chi Last edited by The Great Chi; 04-09-18 at 08:08. |
