Default Wrong materials when in 3DS Max?

I exported a XNA Lara model, just like you should, but when I import it to 3DS Max, the eyeball of the model has the texture of the eyelashes. So for some reason the eyeball meshes and the eyelash meshes count as one, even though in XNA Lara XPS the eyeballs are just fine.

Can anyone help me with this pls?

Just pick a new material from the material browser, set the diffuse texture with the eyeball, drag and drop in the eyeball mesh...unless you mean they merged into on mesh, wich is unlikely, since having the same materials don't do that.

You can also apply different texture to the same mesh,by selecting the polygons you want to apply, then drag and drop the material into the slected polygon parts.

if that's not the case, pics would help
