Default Definitive Edition vs PC

Which version of Tomb Raider do you prefer and think looks better between the PC version and the Definitive Edition?

The Definite Edition has the newer Lara model, better looking and more accurate TressFX, sub-surface scattering for Lara's skin, dynamic foliage/cloth, better particle effects and a few added environmental details.

The PC version on the other hand has Tessellation, Higher resolution shadows, Contact hardening soft shadows, Higher resolution textures, better texture filtering, superior Ambient Occlusion, better motion blur and Depth of Field Effects, and super sampling anti aliasing.

Both versions have there compromises but I feel you ultimately lose out on the more important effects with the Definite Edition. They messed with the gamma/contrast for the Definite Edition in a way I'm not really a fan of and personally I prefer the look of the older character model. The PC version also has the benefit of running at a locked 60fps and running at resolutions higher than 1080p. It would have been great if they updated the PC version to include the improvements added to the Definite Edition. The subsurface scattering, dynamic foliage, and particle effects look great.

Definitive Edition. PC and last gen Lara's face is vomit inducing.

This is enough proof:

I mean SERIOUSLY:

Hardened woman. You can see it in her eyes, she's determined to win.

Slight frown, almost close to tears expression. Twat.

Roar of a tiger.

Ugly troll hag from Yamatai.

Gasped in amazement and wonderment.

Gasped but with dead fish eyes. Vacant expression. Pale as ghost.

Well composed lady who doesn't let emotions gets the best of her.

Frowning git again. Close to tears. Needs a good slap to her face.

It's decided then, I'm getting this DE.

Tough call because I am personally not so fond of Lara's skin after seeing the definitive edition. She looks so gray. Like literally gray. Is her cardiocascular system okay? I didn't even notice it until I saw comparisons. On the other hand the DE Lara sometimes looks like a cartoon

srsly WTF is this?

I'm sure I've seen this in an anime before.

Somebody should compare TRunderworld with this Lara. Even dead bodies seem more alive than Underworld Lara.
But I still like her.
