I found the English dub for the Wiimake pretty good actually, much better than anything Nintendo of America has produced in years. Though Nintendo of Europe's insistence on using British actors is always a plus regardless. Maiden of the Black Water will feature the Japanese original audio if you want however so you have a choice this time around.
And yeah that logo... It's absolutely terrible no doubt... |

Anyone know how big the dl size for Maiden is? I heard 16 gigs. Is that installed? I wonder because my Wii U has about 25 gigs free. If I have to buy an external just for one game, I'm out.

I think the 16GB is indeed installed, but no one seems to be entirely sure.

Launch trailer for Maiden featuring the absolute amazing dubbing Nintendo of America provided for the game!
In case you missed it, that was sarcasm about the dub. It's absolutely terrible. |

We will be able to listen to the Japanese voices with English subtitles.

I'm aware of that, but it's a serious step back from the Wiimake of 2. That wasn't amazing there sure, but a whole lot better than this.

Well I'm hearing that the North American version of this game is censored and the EU version is not. I just love when some condescending bastards tell me that what's good for Japanese--and other--audiences isn't appropriate for me. If we want games to be viewed as adult "artistic" content (this IS an "M" rated game, after all) then the original artistic vision should be adhered to, just like in books and movies.
This on top of making only the US version digital only. Nintendo is CLUELESS. Last edited by interstellardave; 20-10-15 at 11:37. |

Jim Sterling's review is up and it's not flattering. At all.

Just read Sterling's review. Ouch. Seems as if I'm not missing anything, anyway. Oh well, plenty of other games to play, especially with Fallout 4 just around the corner!

European and American version are identical to each other. A couple of reviewers on NeoGAF confirmed that the bikini alternate outfits aren't in the European version either. Also let's be honest, it's not as if the Zero Suit Samus is any less subtle than the bikinis... Last edited by Zelda master; 20-10-15 at 18:24. |
