You can complete Obelisk of Khamoon without activating the blades.

Oh yes, I know...I'm not talking about the room where the switch for Scarab of Osiris is hidden...I'm talking about the one where you have to wall-run past the spinning blades, in order to reach the top of the room, and, subsequently, the switch for the Seal Of Anubis.

I don't like time trials in TRL and TRA all that much. I completed them once just because they unlock things. But would never do them again. I personally do not care for speed run in any game and am very grateful they never enforce them again in later games.

As for the specifics of them in this game, Croft Manor is absolutely the worst for me. In other levels, it is not too difficult for me to remember which way to go as they are usually quite intuitive. I don't think that's the case in Croft Manor, and if you are lost at one point you have to start over again.

Some of these time trials were very difficult. Some of them I haven't achieved to this day.

Things like this create stress in me and make me go wrong all the time, even in easy areas.

I remember some of the egyptian ones being particularly hard, due to an unfortunate combination of some tricky traps and buggy Lara's jumping behavior. Also, the shaft climb in one of the atlantis levels is insane even in normal play.

These 2 factors truly make the Egyptian Time Trials a hell (particularly Obelisk of Khamoon IMO)...Now, as for the Great Pyramid, although I had a nightmare completing it in the normal playthrough, I did it pretty fast in Time Trial mode (strange I know )
