MDNA = Femme Fatale

Hard Granny never existed

I would be more inclined to think Erotica serves as an analogous Blackout; certainly Madonna's darkest approach on music (as Spears') and they existed at similar points in their careers (both their 5th studio albums, in fact).

Hit up Spotify or Youtube can give it a listen. It's better to form your own opinion. We all have diverse music taste's.

MDNA is less generic than FF. Anyway, I like the demo better, the chorus sounds better, and the overall track sounds less boring

So what you are saying is:

Confessions = Blackout
Gross Candy = Circus
MDNA = Femme Fatale

?
That's a fair assessment imo.

PUHLEASE.

Confessions was a masterpiece. Blackout was great. But as I said, Confessions was a masterpiece.

I wouldn't go far as to say Confessions was a masterpiece. Definitely a strong Madonna album (which means its pretty damn good), but if we'e talking about Madonna's masterpiece albums it would be Like A Prayer, Ray of Light, and American Life. Erotica would be up there too, but a lot of it sounds dated nowadays.

Nononono. American Life was nice. Definitely NOT a masterpiece. Listen to Love Profusion and cringe with me.

Confessions was a masterpiece. It's up there with Ray of Light, though, granted, not quite as good. Still, Confessions revealed a totally new side to Madonna and, being so amazing, restored the public's confidence in her.

Confessions is one of her monumental albums.

Which new side was that?

It was pretty much straight forward dance music with a few references to religion and fame. And let's be real, I Love New York is terrible.

It's not straight-forward dance music imo! Listen to stuff like How High and Let It Will Be. Those songs mixed spirituality with dance. Usually those themes are diametrically opposed. Also the music was very much ahead of its time.

The lyrics in I Love New York are hilarious! I've always had a feeling that that song was meant to be ironic and take the piss out of itself.
